During the Procedure
We start by numbing the implant site with a strong local anesthetic. For patients who desire a more relaxing experience, we can offer a neck pillow, music or Netflix, or mild sedation. Dr. Popple then gently places the implant in the jawbone and provides the patient with detailed instructions on aftercare and upcoming appointments for checking your progress.
Recovering from a Dental Implant Procedure
Healing time varies from patient to patient. The entire process can take anywhere between three to twelve months. However, patience is key because the implant needs time to establish its utmost strength and stability.
